Presently under the direction of National Commodore Hiran Jayasinghe, Sea Scouts organization is continuing it’s activities for the fishing village children's with 5 leaders and 7 ships situated in the costal belt of Sri Lanka. They undergo a course of training of Sea Scouts badge work, Seamanship, Navigation, Rowing and Sailing by using a Whaler and Sailing Boat.

The sole idea of the Sea Scouts training is to build a better sociatey with ethics and moral values and equip them with knowledge of Naval regulational discipline, Business Management, Photography, Cookery according to the international culinary standard ,General Manners, table etiquettes through Sea Scouting as well as to be useful and disciplined citizens of Sri Lanka.

Currently sea scouts are not functioing at the HQ, due to a heavy damge that occured after the bomb blast by the terrorist in 2009. All activities are taken place in sea villages of Sri Lanka
